There is no IPTVSOSO app: your login opens in a player you choose

The straight answer first: IPTVSOSO has never released an app, an APK or a download of any kind, for any device. A subscription is a login. It consists of a server address, a username and a password (together called Xtream Codes details) and an M3U link for the same account. You type those into a player built by another company, IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate for most people, and the 25,000+ live channels and 120,000+ movies and series appear inside it.

Television always worked a bit like this. The set in the corner was never made by the channels on it. Here the player is the set, and we supply what it shows: the film channels and comedy repeats people grew up with, plus today’s sport, news and new releases. Change the player and the channels follow, because the login is yours, not the software’s.

What people usually mean by “the IPTVSOSO app”

Three things, and only the first exists.

• A player for the TV. Real, and it comes from your screen’s own store; some are free, some charge for extras. The next section names one per screen.
• An APK file. We do not publish one. Further down: why a file with the name stays off your devices.
• A website to sign in to. None exists: no customer area, no browser player, no dashboard. Trial, order, renewals and help all live in one WhatsApp chat, the only copy of your login. Keep it.

Getting a player for IPTVSOSO, store by store

Open the store your screen came with. The one exception is a Fire OS stick, which takes its player through the Downloader app instead.

• Google Play (Android TV, Google TV, Nvidia Shield, Android boxes, phones and tablets). TiviMate for a mostly live habit; for movie and series sections as well, IPTV Smarters Pro. The Android TV and Shield setup guide covers both.
• Downloader (Fire OS models of the stick, and the Cube). The same two players, once Developer Options are showing: under My Fire TV > About, highlight the device name and click select 7 times. • The TV’s own store (Samsung and LG). IPTV Smarters Pro, or Smart IPTV: on Samsung it is listed for 2022 and newer sets running Tizen 6.5 or later, while LG asks for webOS 3.0 or later. Samsung owners can follow the Samsung Smart TV setup. The LG webOS walkthrough does the same for LG.
• Apple’s App Store (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV). The free Smarters Player Lite, or iPlayTV, which is made only for Apple devices. See the Apple TV and iPhone guide.
• Roku’s Channel Store. Roku allows no sideloading, so you are limited to a player in its store that accepts an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login, where one is offered. The Roku options page has the detail.
• A computer. IPTV Smarters Pro has a Windows version, Smarters Player Lite runs on a Mac, and VLC opens the M3U link on both. More in the PC and Mac guide.
• MAG and Formuler boxes. Nothing to download. A MAG box signs in through a portal URL linked to its MAC address, which starts 00:1A:79; a Formuler box uses its built-in MyTVOnline. Details are in the MAG and Formuler setup.

Which player suits classic channels and the library

Every player here plays every channel. What differs is how quickly it gets you back to the ones you watch most.

Whatever you install, keep one favorites list for the older formats. Search by name rather than scrolling a country group: type “TCM”, “ITV3” or “Boomerang”, star each result, and pin that list to the top. In the UK, Gold and Dave carry comedy repeats and ITV3 drama repeats; MoviePlex is known for films from earlier decades; MTV and VH1 are there too, though today’s schedules differ from their early years. Two features help with re-runs in particular. The program guide tells you when a film starts, so you can be on the sofa before the opening titles, and catch-up on the channels that carry it lets you go back to something that aired earlier, provided your player shows a catch-up option.

What an IPTVSOSO login looks like when it lands

It is plain text in your WhatsApp chat, and activation takes under 15 minutes. Five kinds of detail can be in it, depending on the device you named:

• Server URL: begins with http:// and finishes with a port number after a colon. Leave both parts in place.
• Username and password: short strings in which capital letters matter.
• M3U link: a get.php link carrying your username and password, for players that load a playlist rather than an Xtream sign-in.
• Guide address: an xmltv.php link that playlist players use to fill the program guide.
• Portal URL: MAG boxes only, sent once you share the MAC address from the sticker under the box.

Files and boxes sold under the IPTVSOSO name

Keep them off your screens. No software has ever left this business, so whatever turns up with the name on it, a file, a store listing or a box with it preinstalled, was built by a stranger.

• It runs with whatever you allow, on the same network as your phone and laptop.
• The channels inside are on someone else’s account, which dies the day its owner stops paying.
• We cannot stand behind it. Nothing we did not sell can be renewed, repaired or refunded here.

The name itself is shared, too: several other sellers trade as IPTVSOSO on other domains, and none is connected to this website.
